Planning Supervision
The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
1994 came into force on the 31st March 1995.
It is the responsibility of the person who commissions building
works to ensure that all persons appointed to design, construct
and monitor the works carry out their duties required in the legislation.
Specific duties are required of the clients, designers, contractors.
Before works can proceed, a Health & Safety Plan has to be produced
and implemented.
The responsibility for Health and Safety of the project rests with
the client. Failure to comply with these regulations is a CRIMINAL
OFFENCE, with possible fine and prison sentence
We are trained in construction health and safety and will act as
Planning Supervisor, the health and safety co-ordinator required
under the regulations.
